After more than two years of hard work by our R&D design team, the second generation of INFINITY lens has came out. There is a lot of information to share, so this series of materials, "Change, is the theme that will never change," is divided into four parts. Development background of INFINITY lens, OPTICAL DESIGN SOLUTION , patent layout and PRODUCT SPECIFICATION AND SERIES. First let's share the development background analysis.
1.Development background of INFINITY lens
The zoom lens is an illumination lens derived from imaging optics, and its concept has been used since the beginning of human electrical lighting.
Due to its flexible installation, strong adaptability and simple material preparation, the entire lighting industry's entire industrial chain is in urgent need of zoom lenses suitable for zoom lamps.
However, LED lighting has been developed for many years. Such lenses and lamps have not been successfully promoted in the industry, especially in the field of lighting in commercial shops, which has high requirements for spot cutoff.

How does HercuLux solve the above technical difficulties?
How to achieve high luminous efficiency, short zooming distance, strong zooming ability and nice spot cutoff, and meantime the optical indicators can reach or even partially exceed the existing KA scale fixed-focus lens?
2. OPTICAL DESIGN SOLUTION
1.High efficiency 90%-- Zooming is achieved by properly distributing the ratio of reflected and refracted light during zooming, rather than actively losing light to achieve it, thereby achieving high efficiency.
2.Short distance-- Beam angle of the intermediate refracted light is designed larger in a shorter stroke so that the Min and Max beam angles stroke difference are in a shorter range.
3.Good cutoff and fulfilled spot center (strong zoom capability)--The spot cutoff is generated by the intermediate refracted light; considering the overall zooming effect, the cutoff is made moderate by adding an appropriate compound eye to optimize the spot edge on the refracting light exit surface.
Innovatively adding a two-dimensional uniform light microstructure to the surface of the
lens, so that the light intensity is softened, the central light intensity can be guaranteed; in
particular, the wide beam angle central spot has a certain compensation effect, so that the
wide beam angle spot center is fulfilled.
4. Better anti-glare effect
In the process of zooming, the main light of the narrow beam angle is emitted along the optical
axis direction, while the main light is deflected away from the hood at a wide beam angle, only
very little light reaches the hood regardless of the beam angles. So the new lens can be matched with a deeper anti-glare cover to achieve a better anti-glare effect comparing to conventional KA.

Structure details
The structure is an associated assembly form, which forms an integral unit after assembly .All the bodies are snap-fit, and the assembly is simple .The holders and lens are fixed with inner buckle type, which does not take up the lens size. For example, the lens of 75 is still 75 in diameter after being installed on the holder.
Toothed chute can increase the feeling of adjusting hand and damping, prevent adjustment of position from non-human changes.
The light source holder fixing screw hole spacing is 35mm, which meets the ZHAGA standard.(45mm diameter is limited by the outer size, the fixing screw hole spacing is 25mm).
